“Et au milieu nage Trutta” is a serious game developed for the Maison de la Rivière natural history museum’s permanent exposition.

The game deals with the challenges faced by trouts and other species of fishes that must swim upstream to get to their spawning grounds in order to reproduce. The player guides a the main character “Trutta” along her journey to lay her eggs, solving problems and learning about the river’s ecosystem along the way.

The game runs on a six meter long touch enabled wall projected on by three beamers. It is located in a prime location next to the submarine.

The project is the result of a collaboration between Camille de Dieu, Cassandre Poirier-Simon and Tibor Udvari.
